The Peace Lutheran School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) has been a major support of the school since the very beginning. The organization of volunteer parents plan, organize and implement a variety of fundraising activities throughout the school year. Monies raised through these efforts have funded countless projects for the school that otherwise would have not been completed, or would have had a drastic impact on the budget and tuition rates. The PTO also provides funds to each teacher/classroom to purchase much needed items for the classroom or to offset the cost of fieldtrips for the class. The PTO has several committees that organize several events throughout the year including family fun nights, Lenten meal, concessions for sporting events, special informational guests and the hot lunch program.
The PTO strives to organize fellowship and social activities for our school parents that allow us to bond as a family of believers. This organization has routinely been a relatively small group of very dedicated parents who do whatever is needed to support the school and the staff--if you have never been to a meeting or have never been involved in any of the activities, we welcome you! PTO meetings are scheduled monthly during the school year and are communicated through the Weekly News as well as email.
